Zechariah 4:6

So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.
Unlike when Solomon originally built the Temple, Zerubbabel faced this daunting task with limited physical resources and a discouraged workforce. Solomon had all he needed. It seemed to Zerubbabel that he had nothing he needed.
The LORD sent Zerubbabel a message via the prophet Zechariah. To paraphrase … “King, the only thing you really need is God’s Spirit.”
When faced with an overwhelming situation, don’t look to things … don’t look to people. Look to “…my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.”
