I will be very brief today, letting what Paul wrote, speak about Israel.
Have you ever noticed how often Israel is at the center of world events? This tiny nation in the Middle East … the focus of other nations, far and near, great and small. In recent history (mid 20th century forward), from Germany and the Jews … Egypt and Israel 7-day war … the oil cartel … conflicts in Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza … the Israeli effect is always present. Why is this?
God has chosen Israel (read the passage again) to show the nations His power AND His mercy.
