13 Spouting off before listening to the facts
is both shameful and foolish.

2 Fools have no interest in understanding;
they only want to air their own opinions.

St. Francis of Assisi prayed to God for help. Listening did not come naturally. He wanted to, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”

Listening is a skill we must develop. Practice this week.
