Faith Brings Joy

1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.


When you and I put our faith in God through a personal relationship with Jesus, His Son, we begin to experience the joy of the Lord.

This joy comes through peace. This peace with God is far beyond our ability to fully understand and is completely undeserved. Yet He gives it anyway.

This joy comes through position (place). God has reserved a place for us around the family table and we take a seat at His banquet.

This joy come through privilege. All the privileges of the Son, the heir, are given to us, the adopted children. We become joint-heirs with Jesus.

And all of this is available, not because we are so good but because of what Jesus did on the Cross!
