THE SECRET IS OUT

God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his message in all its fullness to you Gentiles. This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to his own holy people. For it has pleased God to tell his people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory.
 
Colossians 1:25-27
 
By God’s plan, for a time there were things within the Jewish faith; the Old Testament; the foundation of the Christian religion; which were kept secret. In the temple, again at God’s direction, there were worship practices conducted behind the veil and only the priests were allowed to enter the Holy Place. When the time was right, God sent His Son Jesus, the Messiah, to save mankind from sin condition and pay the sin debt. When He was crucified on Calvary’s Cross, the veil in the temple was rent from top to bottom. Access to the Holy Place was forever revealed to all, Jew or Gentile, who would trust in Jesus. Through Jesus we have access to the LORD God Almighty. There are no longer any veils or secrets which keep any man or woman from the throne of grace.
 
The secret is out. “For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory.”
