Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.” Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one who lives forever and ever. And they lay their crowns before the throne and say, “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created.”

The gospel artist, Kirk Franklin, popularized the catchy phrase, “Get your praise on!” The phrase expresses our need to practice now for what heaven will be like. Around the throne of grace there is continual praise “Day after day and night after night…”
Have you given consideration lately for all you have to praise God for? Go ahead … make a mental list. Do you find the list getting too long? There just may be a blessing in writing it down or decorating your desk, wall, around your computer screen with ‘post-it’ notes.
After making your list or writing your ‘post-it’ notes, go ahead. Now its time!
