LIVING BY FAITH TODAY

Afterward the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast out that demon?”
“You didn’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I assure you, even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

Matthew 17:19-20

How will you live by faith today?

Your commitment to living for God and standing against the evil that exists in the world will be under attack today. This is true every day but the world has selected this day … October 31st … Halloween … in particular to celebrate all that is evil. What will your response be?

This is particularly true if you have children. All they see is the fun and the candy. How tricky the devil is at his schemes! Will you succumb to the pressure and let them go along with the evil practices or will you live by faith today? Find a way to teach the positive lesson of the difference between good and evil … between what is holy and what is hellish … between God and Satan.

Taking that stand … teaching that lesson … only requires mustard seed faith. With God, nothing is impossible!
