ENABLED FOR GENEROSITY

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “Godly people give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will never be forgotten.”

2nd Corinthians 9:6-9

Why does God bless you so abundantly? So that you will be enabled for generosity.

Why might you be struggling in your finances? Because you have failed to be generous with what God has previously given you.

Luke reminds us that Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35

If you will be “the person who gives cheerfully … God will generously provide all you need.”
