What a contrast between Adam and Christ, who was yet to come! And what a difference between our sin and God’s generous gift of forgiveness. For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin. But this other man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through God’s bountiful gift.

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.” (John 3:16 – The Message Bible)
This gift of love is necessary for the best of us and the worst of us. We may have never done anything that resulted in our being incarcerated (maybe we just didn’t get caught) but without God’s gift of His Son, we would face a horrible future. Because of our sin, large or small, hell would be our eternity.
God loves you and has provided forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Receive His gift today. God’s love makes a difference.
