David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the LORD was with him. When Saul recognized this, he became even more afraid of him. But all Israel and Judah loved David because he was so successful at leading his troops into battle.

Has anyone offered to tell you the ‘secret of success’? Many motivational books have been written on this subject. One of the more popular was Norman Vincent Peale’s, “The Power of Positive Thinking”. He offered many good suggestions on being a positive person and there is nothing wrong there.
God, however, clearly tells us the truth to success. There is no secret. It is not hidden.
If you desire success in any area of your life, family … relationships … career … finances … faith walk, you best follow David’s example. He was so successful in everything he did, for the LORD was with him!
The truth to success is found in your relationship to the LORD.
