I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word.
Psalm 119:101
When you spend time each day with God, reading His Word, that Word will be with you and in you when the enemy tempts you to follow an “evil way.” You will “hold back” your feet from walking paths which are not pleasing to God because the memory of His commandments will be fresh in your spirit.
My pastor reminded us yesterday that even though it is Spring Break, it is not a time to take a break from reading God’s Word. Resist the temptation to take a break from your daily quiet time and absolutely be committed to keeping His Word this week and every week.
Prayer Request: Safety, rest and rejuvenation for all who will be enjoying Spring Break this week.
