Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.

I had several prayer requests come through my email inbox on yesterday. Some were related to physical illness. Others were related to emotions, stressful situations and family challenges. For each of these we offer earnest petitions to the LORD.
His promise is that the prayers of those who are in right standing with Him will be answered. We should not be surprised or shocked when the LORD responds. Being in awe to His amazing grace however is appropriate. The God of the universe has an ear for your and my tiny (in the overall scope of things) little request.
The Men’s Kairos #15 at Central MS Correctional Facility starts this evening around 6:00 p.m. Please send up some of those tiny petitions. I know there will be wonderful results!
