This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to his own holy people. For it has pleased God to tell his people that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you, and this is your assurance that you will share in his glory. So everywhere we go, we tell everyone about Christ.

One line of Nicole C. Mullen’s song says, “I know my Redeemer lives.” The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Colossee and to us that Christ lives in you. That being true means that when you and I experience the circumstances of life on this side of eternity, Christ is experiencing them right along with us. When the joys of life abound in us, Jesus rejoices right along with us. When sadness comes He shares and helps us bear that emotion as well.
As we work to build His Kingdom, the Spirit enables and directs the activity. In like manner, when our actions are not pleasing, the Spirit is grieved and works to draw us to confession and repentance.
In good or bad, the LORD is living in you, witnessing and recording your works in the Lamb’s books (Revelation 20:12). Let your record be one that is worthy of praise.
